I recently discovered a great digital template artist named Simply Tiffany and every thursday she gives away a free scrapbook digital template on her blog. The catch is the download link is only good for 24 hours or something like that so you have to grab them fast! I wish I would have spotted this earlier in the year (when it started) because it would have helped me get some digital scrappin’ done in a hurry. I DO USE digital templates quite a bit. Often we convert our Pink Paislee collections into a digital form so we can use them to create magazine ads or quick projects for display and I always turn to digital scrapbook templates to get the job done. I can honestly tell you that after I learned how to apply a layer mask in Photoshop, my world changed forever…
Today I created this football themed layout using two papers from our Hometown Summer Collection and this layout is the perfect example of why digital scrapbooking can be so fun and easy. You literally just open up a template, drop in your photos, type in your journaling and hit save. Maybe less than 20 minutes and no mess.
All I have to do now is print this out on a smooth 12 x 12 white cardstock sheet and slip it into an album. I don’t even mind mixing my traditional layouts with my digital layouts in the same album. You should try it too!
