Oh Snap!

Here is my first layout using products from the new Pink Paislee Fetching collection. I also used a piece of paper from the captivating collection as my background (the woodgrain paper.) I love love love these new paper designs. So easy to work with and mix with my photos.
Now…if this looks crooked it probably is. I have decided once and for all that my Making Memories trimmer cuts at a slight angle. I have to really watch the way I hold the paper to keep it straight and frankly I don’t have a lot of time for that. When the paper is slightly crooked then I end up placing everything else slightly off and when I photograph it all the flaws come out! UGHHHH! I might be back on the hunt for a trimmer that cuts straight EVERYTIME! Sorry MM. Love your products but unfortunately I just might have to “shelf” the trimmer.

This photo is from our trip last summer to King’s Dominion Theme Park. My son was seriously so scared and really wanted to get off this kiddie roller coaster. The photo is terrible because I cropped it close so we could really see the expression on his face. I think he is close to “loosing his cookies” during this turn. Since Oh Snap is something he says every now and then I decided to use it as the title! Overall I think this layout needs something else but it is so crooked now I am going to just slide it in the album and move on…LOL!
I know it is Valentine’s Day and I should be sharing a “lovey dovey” layout or project but the truth is I don’t have any! I didn’t even make any handmade valentine’s this year. I am awful! But….I do hope you are enjoying your weekend with all your “sweeties.”

Well, I know what you mean about the trimmer because mine has that issue too. That said, I can’t tell that it’s crooked at all. And, there’s love there on that page, it’s called Fetching and I think we all love that!
