Here is a photo of my latest layout.  I haven’t scrapbooked a layout in about a month, so I had fun playing with this photo of my guys from this summer!  They look so fashionable and almost convinced me they were models so I thought it would be fun to focus on “their style.”

If you look closely you will see I used the silver metallic rub-ons from our Pop Fashion line over at Pink Paislee to accent this page.  It compliments the bling and the glitter (that I went a little crazy with!)  Don’t be afraid to try our rub-ons in silver.  They are so gorgeous and they rub-off like buttah!

I just noticed all the shadows on these photos…I will try to get better shots today!

This is the saga for my 6 year old son this week.  As you can see from these “first day of school” photos my son went through the entire range of emotions on his first day of Kindergarten.  He was extremely sad to be leaving us for the entire day but then much to our surprise he started dancing and singing “I love kindergarten” when we arrived to pick him up.

He has now completed 4 full days of Kindergarten and we went through an emotional roller coaster each day.  Tears, smiles, more tears and then the weekend arrived which brought lots of laughter and smiles.  This really will be an adjustment for our son and we hope soon he will feel comfortable with the routine of school each day.

Baby steps..i’m telling you….baby steps! Hopefully we will get to a point where he is all smiles all the time without missing us and being nervous about the unknown.
