I posted a fun little project over at the Pink Paislee blog today and thought I would go ahead and share it here too!

I used the Pink Paislee Office Lingo papers and a few extra embellishments to cover this Maya Road chipboard house. I think I am going to save this and create a layout someday about our home. I think I will add this to the page as a large focal point or embellishment. Should be fun!

I have never created a layout about our house so I am hoping this will jump start me to do so!

Doesn’t my son look thrilled to be graduating from preschool? NOT SO MUCH!  This is an awful photo but I guess they can’t all be fabulous right?  I just thought I would share since he looks so darn sad.

I don’t really take this event too seriously but it was fun to watch the kids perform some songs and accept their pre-k certificates. My son will officially become a full time student in the fall when he starts all day long Kindergarten.

This summer I plan on working with him extra hard on his number writing and letter writing skills. He can write his name pretty well and he can recognize all numbers and letters but his handwriting isn’t the greatest.. I do believe language and spelling are key so I want him to be comfortable in this area when he starts school.

What do you get when you combine a gigantic bubble blower with an enthusiastic 5 year old?  PURE FUN!

This is us hanging out in the front yard last night blowing bubbles and enjoying the GORGEOUS weather.  Finally it is a perfect 70+ degree day and we love being outside just doing whatever.  Most nights we go for a walk or ride our bikes but last night we were just hangin’ 

I have quite the busy weekend planned and will have lots of pics to share next week!   Tonight I am off to the Plaza to have dinner and drinks with my “slumba” girlfriends.  We are actually renting a hotel room so we can stay up all night and chat.  We used to have our slumber parties at eachothers houses but with 4 of us now mothers it is just easier to leave the kids at home…LOL!

Then Monday I am off to THE CURE concert with my other friend Lori and I know we will have a blast.  I am going to try and take my camera but I am not sure they are allowed.  We will see!  I would love to get some pics of the band and even the crowd there.  I love people watching at these events.

Hi ya!  I made a few quick cards today.  I usually end up doing this when I need to send something out ASAP or I make a few quick cards when I just want to play with my supplies and I don’t have any photos printed.  I desperately need to go through and edit some photos and print some off!  I am dying to work on some new layouts and I think I have fall pics I still need to scrap DOH!!

This week has gone by way too fast and I feel like I haven’t gotten anything accomplished!  I have been finalizing all of our “purchase orders” and booth plans for the Pink Paislee summer show and that that has kept me busy most of the week!  I am really looking forward to our next big product release and the next show since we have so many new retailers and consumers who are waiting to see what we have up our sleeves!  It should be a ton of fun!  And of course we love our 2 new collections! 

I did get a nice “thinking of you” email from Layle over at Scenic Route today and seriously she is just so sweet.  I loved dealing with her when I was a scrapbook store owner and now having her as a friend on the manufacturing side of this business is even better!
