Let You Down!

January 13, 2008 at 5:19 pm | In Chit Chat | 11 Comments

I am starting to feel a lot of pressure. As the date draws closer to our debut at Winter CHA on February 10th I am starting to wonder how our products will be received with the retail store owners! Will they love it? Hate it? Stop to see it etc.

There has already been a lot of excitement building for our products and although I LOVE LOVE LOVE what we have prepared I am still nervous that once it is revealed it will be a let down to everyone. I am crazy to have these thoughts right? Let me just say….this rant has nothing to do with Holly’s designs (in fact she rocked it out!!!) this is really just me being a little frantic that the date is drawing near and  I am just a wee but nervous!

We spent all weekend painting the booth walls and we are off to paint our counter / bar area next. We have to have everything done by this weekend so we can schedule the crate shipment to Anaheim! It is one HUGE crate….I just can’t imagine what it weighs….LOL!

ok….sorry for the rant! I am off to bite my nails now…. :-)

  1. (((big hugs))) I am sure this is normal, but sweetie, you’ve got nothing to worry about!!! Your designs are going to sell themselves and your hard work and passion will shine! :) Breathe and do a little something for you. K?

  2. ((Hugs)) to you Rebecca! I think it’s only natural to feel that way. I mean, when you pour your heart and soul into something it’s only right to be a bit unsure about how it will be received by others, but you just have to remember that you CAN achieve what you want and you WILL. I can tell just by reading your blog for a little bit that you are passionate about your work and your company and that all of the hard work you are putting into it will pay off. I am cheering you on and I will definitely contact the scrapbook store owner that I’m on the DT for and tell her to check out your products because I know they are going to be great! Hang in there! I’m rooting for you and will pray that everything goes smoothly! Try not to stress too much and remember to have fun! I know it will be a big success! :)

  3. Yes, you are crazy! Pink Paislee is going to rock and orders will be flying in faster than you can say “cute stamps”. But, I think it is normal to have these feelings when you have invested so much in a launch like this.

  4. gee, the pressure is on huh?

  5. you, let us down? never! just breathe and take it all one step at a time!

  6. No worries Rebecca ~ Pink Paislee will ROCK CHA and the scrappin’ world ~ no doubt about it!! {now stop biting your nails!! lol!!}

  7. You guys are going to be a hit!!! ;)

  8. You have absolutely nothing to worry about!!! If anyone can succeed at this, you and Holly are it!

  9. You are going to be such a hit! You have to remember that the color and the fun and the personalities of the people in the booth are what make people want to come in. once they see your excitement and wonderful displays they will have to have it. You were the ‘buyer’ before, so i think that you have a wonderful knowledge of what the market wants and how to sell it.

If all else fails we will hit the boards and write how much we DESPERATELY want that Pink Paislee stuff. hee hee :)

Holly stuff is so stinking cute, who can resist!

  10. If it involves you and Holly the products are going to me a smashing HIT! Can’t wait to see them!! :-)

  11. Rebecca,

You and Holly are one of my “faves” to check on when I need inspiration. I can’t wait to see all the new goods that
    bring out.

I have been to CHA before. I love the new vendor area. If you have a “kick butt” booth that will draw the potential
client in it’s all down hill from there.
